FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE road bumper consists of a concrete block installed on the dividing strip of the highway, on the opposite sides of which, facing the traffic lanes, there are protective layers made of extended damper shaped elements. The damping elements of the protective layer of the road bumper are fixed on the side surface of the concrete block and are made in the form of automobile strip springs, installed with a convex outward in several threads both along the length and across the side surface of the concrete block, forming discrete elastic buffer elements.
EFFECT: ensuring reliable separation of traffic flow by a bumper on roads and highways.
