FIELD: optical-electronic instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: device for remote sensing of the Earth in the infrared region of the spectrum. The device contains a sequentially installed scanning system, a lens, a radiation receiver and an analogue-to-digital converter, the output of which is connected to the first input of the digital graphic data (DGD) storage and display unit, which is configured to connect its second input to the output of the navigation system. The device is additionally equipped with a DGD processing unit, containing a sequentially connected DGD filtering module, a DGD packet generation module, a DGD decoding module, and a coordinate determination module. The input of the DGD filtering module, which is the input of the DGD processing unit, is connected to the output of the DGD storage and display unit, the third input of which is connected to the output of the coordinate determination module, which is the output of the DGD processing unit.
EFFECT: ability of using in solving problems of rapid response by reducing the time of remote monitoring of the earth's surface by providing the ability to automatically interpret scanner images of the underlying surface directly on board the aircraft during survey work.
