PERISTALTIC DOSING PUMP CALIBRATION METHOD (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01F25/00

Abstract RU 2815395 C1

FIELD: measurement; test.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to testing or calibration of equipment or devices, in particular testing or calibration of equipment for measuring volume, flow rate or level of liquid, or for measuring volumes in doses. Method of calibrating a peristaltic dosing pump involves lowering one end of the tube into the dosed liquid and the other end into an empty container and completely filling the tube with the dosed liquid. Parameters of the volume of the dosed liquid V and the rate of pumping of the dosed liquid Q are set, after which the number of required steps of the engine N is determined by the formula N=V/K and the frequency of the steps of the motor F by the formula F=(Q/K)/60, where K is a coefficient of proportionality of the pumped volume to the steps taken. Further, the dosed liquid is pumped from the container with the dosed liquid into the empty container, after which the volume of the dosed liquid V1 is determined, the coefficient of proportionality of the pumped volume to the steps K is recalculated by the formula K=V1/N, as well as the number of the required motor steps and the motor steps repetition frequency for the volume of dosed liquid required for operation, taking into account the recalculated K. In an alternative embodiment, calculations are carried out in automatic mode.

EFFECT: higher accuracy during the dosing procedure by providing the ability to recalculate the coefficient (K) during the calibration process, taking into account the liquid supply rates.
