FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to an electrosurgical instrument. Electrosurgical instrument includes a first jaw, which has a support recess, and a second jaw, which has a support trunnion protruding into the support recess of the first jaw, due to which a rotary hinge is formed, by means of which the first jaw is attached to the second jaw with possibility of rotation around the rotary axis. In the second jaw there is a recess which guides the knife, in which the knife is installed with the possibility of directional movement in the direction of movement. Support journal is located in transverse direction, parallel to rotary axis, on one side of guide recess. Second jaw is made on the side of the knife-guide recess opposite in the transverse direction without an additional support pin and without an additional support trunnion. Said trunnion journal has axial end surface adjoining knife guide recess. Said trunnion journal is arranged between said axial end surface and opposite axial end surface without a through hole passing across the rotary axis for passage of the knife.
EFFECT: invention is characterized by the fact that a simple design of a rotary hinge of an electrosurgical instrument comprising a knife is achieved.
