FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to surgical forceps, in particular to a laparoscopic instrument, as well as to a method for its manufacture. The forceps for processing biological tissues contains the first jaw held on the base and extending from it, and the second jaw mounted on the base with the possibility of rotation around the rotary axis. To mount the second jaw in a rotatable manner, a support structure is provided with two support elements arranged coaxially to each other and together form a divided support pin. The support structure is made on a support insert made of plastic, which is connected to the base. The method of mounting the support structure in forceps according to one of the preceding claims, characterized that they take the support structure, which is a deployed part, in which both support parts and the jumper connecting them are located in a common plane, move the support parts into two parallel to each other, spaced apart from each other plane by bending, removing or tearing the connecting bridge, after which the support structure is inserted into the pocket.
EFFECT: use of the inventions makes it possible to ensure the compactness and strength of the support structure with a small number of structural elements, which are low-cost in production and easy to install.
