SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurology and gynaecology, and can be used for prediction of recovery from chronic disturbance of consciousness (CDC) in women based on blood hormones. Content of anti-Mullerian, follicle-stimulating hormones and total testosterone is determined in blood serum taken from an ulnar vein on an empty stomach with underlying oligomenorrhea or secondary amenorrhea. Probability of a favourable outcome is calculated as a recovery from CDC to consciousness by the following formula: B3=1/(1+2.72^{-(-3.218+0.402xFSH-0.26xAMH+2.825xTestosterone)}), where FSH is the level of follicle-stimulating hormone, IU/l; AMH is anti-Mullerian hormone level, ng/ml; testosterone — total testosterone level, nmol/l. If B3 is less than or equal to 0.7, patient’s recovery from CDC is predicted.

EFFECT: method enables predicting the outcomes of chronic disturbance of consciousness in women for use in clinical practice by determining the blood hormone level.
