FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to porous biomedical materials based on titanium nickelide, which can be used for making bone implants or cell culture incubators. Method of producing biocompatible porous material with antibacterial effect caused by fixation of antiseptic in volume of material, involves conducting a self-propagating high-temperature synthesis reaction in a mixture of titanium and nickel powders diluted with titanium nickelide powder, to which silver powder is added as an alloying additive. Ingredient content in atomic percentages in the mixture is selected within the range of: nickel 48.8–48.5 at.%; silver 0.2–0.5 at.%; titanium is the balance, wherein concentration of titanium nickelide in mixture is selected equal to 15%, and temperature in furnace is stabilized at level of 520 °C.

EFFECT: invention provides improved permeability of the material for fluids and tissues during osteogenesis while maintaining a long-term antiseptic effect.
