FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device for replacing post-resection sternocostal defects in patients during reconstruction of the chest frame is made of a superelastic alloy in the form of repeating modules in the form of wire structures, which are sequentially arranged loop-shaped segments with a wire structure thickness of 1.7±0.1 mm, a segment height of 50 mm, a segment width of 30 mm, with the possibility of connecting wire structures to each other by means of a clamp. Superelastic alloy, made by induction melting in vacuum with the following the ratio of components, at%: nickel 49.5-49.6; silver nanoparticles 0.05-0.1; titanium – the rest.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the safety and effectiveness of the restoration of the bone-cartilaginous skeleton of the chest wall, reducing the technical complexity of performing surgical operations by standardizing the installation and fixation stages of frame structures, improving the integration and antibacterial properties of the implant, increasing the strength of the material and resistance to paraprosthetic infection.
