FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: method of monitoring the technical state of a three-phase power transformer, which consists in the fact that instantaneous values of currents and voltages of windings of the controlled transformer are synchronously measured, based on measurement results, calculating synchronized vector values of positive-sequence currents and voltages of industrial frequency, using the obtained vector values, a diagnostic parameter is calculated and the technical state of the transformer is estimated from its deviation from the reference value. Power losses in transformer are used as diagnostic parameter and its reference value, wherein the reference value is calculated for said vector values of currents and voltages based on parameters of the equivalent circuit of the transformer, which were previously determined from the data of no-load and short-circuit tests.
EFFECT: high accuracy of evaluating the technical state of the transformer and enabling rapid obtaining of such an estimate from measurements carried out in the current operating mode.
