FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical technology, to liquid-phase processes of catalytic alkylation of isoalkanes with olefins in order to obtain a high-octane additive to motor fuel — alkylate, in particular, to a sulfuric acid alkylation process. In particular, the invention relates to a liquid-phase acid alkylation method, comprising reacting olefins with isoalkanes contained in an alkylated mixture of hydrocarbons, in the presence of a liquid acid catalyst and a surfactant soluble therein or a mixture of surfactants, and/or with the addition of accompanying surfactants soluble in the acid catalyst to form a reaction mixture containing an alkylation product. Method is characterized by the fact that the solubility of each of the surfactants and accompanying surfactants in the acid phase is more than 0.5 wt.% under conditions of alkylation reaction, and in the reaction mixture before or during the alkylation reaction, a Winsor III and/or Winsor I microemulsion is formed.
EFFECT: high selectivity and/or output of the end product — alkylate, high octane number thereof, reduced consumption of the acid alkylation catalyst by reducing the rate of formation of by-products of the alkylation reaction.
