FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for acid-catalyzed alkylation. The method includes interaction of olefin and isoparaffin or an aromatic compound in the presence of a liquid-acid catalyst and a surfactant in an alkylation reaction zone operating under alkylation reaction conditions with the formation of a reaction mixture containing an alkylation product, while the surfactant has solubility at 25°C of 0.5 wt.% or less in olefin, isoparaffin, liquid-acid catalyst, and alkylation product, wherein the reaction mixture contains a phase system of Winsor III type.
EFFECT: bicontinuous phase formed between hydrocarbon and liquid acid phases in addition of the surfactant facilitates and accelerates liquid acid-catalyzed alkylation reactions, including an alkylation reaction for obtainment of motor fuel.
