FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: alkylation treatment of C4-C7-isoalkane is carried out using solid catalyst in particulate form. First mixture of isoalkane and catalyst is prepared in washing zone, followed by passing mixture through reactor, into which small amount of C2-C5-olefin is introduced to come to contact with mixture, thereby forming alkylate. Resulting isoalkane-catalyst-alkylate mixture is passed through reactor making obstacles to back mixing of said components in order to prevent reaction of alkylate with olefin leading to polymerization. Isoalkane-catalyst alkylate mixture practically free from olefin is directed to separating zone in which liquid is removed, while solid catalyst particles are recovered and returned to washing zone for subsequent recirculation. Isoalkane is present in reactor in molar excess sufficient to convert practically whole of olefin. Whole unreacted isoalkane is recirculated back to reactor with fresh isoalkane replenished to maintain molar excess. Catalyst is constituted by silicon dioxide washed with strong acid and treated with antimony pentafluoride to achieve antimony content of 5-80 wt.% in catalyst, and, preferably, treated with isoalkane within temperature range from - 30 C down to - 160 C.
