SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in heat exchangers with both liquid and gaseous heat carrier. In a heat exchanger comprising a bundle of heat exchange elements located in a casing, made of parallel-spatial spiral coils with identical geometrical characteristics, wound between coils of adjacent coils arranged along an equilateral triangular grid, at inlet sections of which throttling devices are installed, note here that inlet sections are protected by common screen or individual screens or false tube plate with filling of gaps between said plate and heat exchange elements with heat-insulating material.
EFFECT: increased durability of heat exchange elements.
