FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental surgery and can be used for simulation of deep skin burns in experimental conditions on rats for development of treatment methods. Rats in the interscapular space of the back are shaved off in area of 5.0×5.0 cm. Then heating plate “ПЛК-1818” is heated to 180 °C a metal plate. Plate is made of steel “ЭИ992”, thickness 0.5 cm and dimensions of heating surface 2.0×2.0 cm, with a handle with length of 15 cm and a total weight of 50 grams. After reaching preset temperature plate heated surface is applied to skin area of animal. Plate is held for 12 seconds.

EFFECT: method enables to increase the efficiency of creating a deep skin burn in rats by ensuring the required temperature of the heated device, using a metal plate of given dimensions, weight, which makes it possible to carry out dosed by duration contact of heated surface with skin of animal for formation of burn wound, which in turn allows to develop new methods of treatment.
