METHOD OF MAKING BALL MILL LINING FOR MOLDING CERAMIC ARTICLES FROM AQUEOUS SLIPS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC B02C17/22 

FIELD: ceramic industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of lining of ball mills used for preparation of aqueous slips for production of articles from ceramics. Proposed method comprises lining mill drum with ceramic plates. At that, before lining with ceramic plates, the metal drum of the mill is fixed in two ring clamps of U-shape, which are rigidly connected to each other. Each clamp is installed on two support wheels. Mill drum lining is carried out in stages, where plates are first glued along the entire height of the drum with holding for at least 30% of the time of complete curing of the glue, note here that arc length of glued plates should make at least 1/50 of drum circumference. Then, at each stage, plates are glued, the arc length of which is not more than 1/15 of the drum circumference with exposure of at least 50% of complete curing of the glue.

EFFECT: simplified process of ball mills lining production used for molding ceramic articles from aqueous slips.
