FIELD: manufacturing lining of ball mills.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for manufacturing lining of ball mills to produce an aqueous quartz glass slurry, including preparation of a quartz glass slurry, the formation of a ceramic workpiece of a composite structure, its drying and firing, fitting of the lining elements and their gluing, drilling a loading hatch, fixing by pouring into the gap between the lining and the metal gypsum mortar drum. After fitting, the internal diameters of the cone-shaped elements of the lining are measured, after which they are glued along the largest diameters of the cone-shaped elements. The lining elements are glued together with epoxy resin, to which quartz powder is added.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the service life of the lining, as well as a decrease in the duration of the grinding of quartz glass.
