SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for increasing insulin secretion β-cells of pancreatic islets of Langerhans by means of thermogenetics. In β-cells deliver a genetic construct containing a promoter specific for them and a gene of human thermally activated channel TRPV1. Then β-cells are heated in a PCR machine with a certain mode of heating and cooling cycles.

EFFECT: invention enables non-invasive stimulation β-cells of pancreatic islets of Langerhans and stimulate insulin secretion.
