FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemistry and specifically to devices for cathodic protection, which can be used for electrochemical protection of reinforced concrete structures from corrosion. Converter comprises a housing in which there are at least one voltage converter module, a connection panel, measurement unit, indication unit, including a set of indicators for displaying current value of output voltage, output current and protective potential, as well as a telemechanics unit, wherein the voltage conversion module is connected to the measurement unit and to the connection panel, the connection panel is connected to the input of the measurement unit, measurement unit is connected to the display unit and the telemetry unit, the indicators of the display unit are digital, the measurement unit is configured to convert the measured parameters into a voltage conversion module control signal, in the converter housing the switching unit is additionally located, made according to the bridge circuit, which provides the possibility of automatic change of the output current direction for the structure protective potential bias both to the area of more positive values, and in the area of more negative values, a detachable housing of the control unit, inside which there are detachable measurement unit, display unit, telemechanics unit, measurement unit is made with built-in software with the possibility of performing the operating time counter function and information distribution over communication channels, the connecting panel is connected to the switching unit, wherein the measurement unit is configured to convert the measured parameters into a control signal for voltage conversion modules, wherein the communication channels include up to 32 parallel channels for measuring the protective potential of the structure.
EFFECT: creation of a device ensuring maintenance of electrochemical potential in all controlled points of a structure.
