SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry, particularly to a method for determining concentration of phenol in liquids. Method involves addition of peroxidase encapsulated in CaCO3 microspherolites by coprecipitation, into a solution containing aminoantipyrine-4, phenol and hydrogen peroxide, incubation and measurement of optical density of the solution with the concentration of phenol in the solution in range of 700 ng/ml to 14 mcg/ml.

EFFECT: present invention provides high rate of analysis and possibility of multiple use of CaCO3 microspherolites with immobilized peroxidase to determine concentration of phenol in solution.
