SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry. Disclosed is a method for determining glucose using a polymethacrylate matrix, comprising reacting an analyzed solution with a polymethacrylate matrix in the presence of a glucose oxidase enzyme and an iodide ion, removing the matrix from the solution, measuring the analytical signal and determining the glucose content, where as a medium for generating an analytical signal, a polymethacrylate matrix with immobilized gold nanoparticles is used, the analytical signal is obtained as a result of iodine extraction by a polymethacrylate matrix with immobilized gold nanoparticles and measured at wavelength 365 nm or in colour coordinates G, B, glucose content is assessed by calibration curve or by additive method.
EFFECT: invention provides developing a simple, easy, more rapid method for determining glucose based on a polymethacrylate matrix with different embodiments of detecting an analytical signal and controlling the level of glucose in human biological fluids.
