SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a cream that absorbs ultraviolet radiation and a method of its production. A method of producing a cream absorbing ultraviolet radiation is as follows: the fruits of red viburnum are crushed, the seeds are removed, the resulting mass is squeezed, an equal amount of aqueous-ethanol solution at a ratio of alcohol to water 3:7 is added to the resulting juice of 20 ml, it is extracted for 48 hours at room temperature, the resulting solution is passed through gauze three times and then through paper filters until a clear, bright red liquid is obtained, the resulting clear solution is filtered through a filter with a fraction size of 200 nm, an aqueous solution of silver nanoparticles with a volume of 0 is added to the resulting solution with a volume of 2 ml, an aqueous solution of silver nanoparticles in a volume of 0.1 ml with concentration CAg=5⋅10-8 M is added, then the aqueous-alcoholic extract of viburnum with silver nanoparticles is added to a mixture consisting of 0.5 ml of glycerol monostearate and 10 ml of medium-chain glycerides, stirred until homogeneous on a magnetic stirrer for 15 minutes at 800 rpm and a temperature of 50°C, the resulting emulsion is treated in an ultrasonic bath with a frequency of 37 kHz for 10 minutes. Cream that absorbs ultraviolet radiation, obtained as described above.

EFFECT: cream obtained by the method described above intensively absorbs light in the region of 350–500 nm, increases the degree of absorption as a result of plasma resonance of silver nanoparticles.
