SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture, in particular to veterinary science, and can be used to protect farm animals and birds in places of their keeping from insects – flying and flightless, as well as for decontamination from pathogenic viruses and bacteria of livestock, poultry premises, located in them technological equipment, auxiliary livestock facilities and animal care equipment. Disclosed is a method of producing a disinfectant with repellent properties, comprising mixing separately prepared phases, wherein the first phase is prepared by mixing at rate of 150 rpm for 30 minutes at temperature of 23 °C chemically demineralised water, 50% aqueous solution of tetramethylene diethylene tetramine, 50% aqueous solution of benzalkonium chloride and tetrasodium salt at a weight ratio of 6.0:4.0:5.0:0.2, respectively, and the second phase is prepared by mixing at rate of 150 rpm for 30 minutes at temperature of 23 °C isopropyl alcohol and N,N-diethyltoluamide in form of 20% oily liquid at a weight ratio of 1.0:4.0 respectively. Second phase is then added to the first phase at a weight ratio of 3.0:1.0, respectively, while continuously mixing the phases at rate of 150 rpm for 30 minutes at temperature of 23 °C, with subsequent infusion of the obtained homogeneous solution for 24 hours. Group of inventions also relates to a disinfectant obtained using said method.

EFFECT: invention provides protection of farm animals from blood-sucking flying and flightless insects and infectious diseases, improves quality of their keeping.
