FIELD: inorganic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing highly stable dispersions of graphene fluoride of idealized composition CF in organic solvents. To obtain dispersions, multilayer graphenes are used, which are formed during thermal decomposition of intercalated compounds of polyfluoridedicarbon of total composition C2F⋅xR, where R is an organic or inorganic substance, in particular chlorine trifluoride, or bromine trifluoride, or acetone. Multilayer graphenes are fluoridated with elementary fluorine at 200 °C, the obtained multilayer graphene fluoride is treated with ultrasound in ethyl alcohol, acetone and isopropyl alcohol.
EFFECT: invention increases technological effectiveness of the process of fluoridation of carbon material, reduces duration and temperature of fluoridation, and increases stability of dispersions in organic media.
