FIELD: radiation detection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of detection of ionizing radiation. To implement the method of assembling supermodules for detecting ionizing radiation, first, a table of coordinates of reference points of the relative positions of technological markers of sensors and positioning units of the supporting truss is created. L-legs are glued to the side faces of the sensors. An assembly device is installed on a rigid base, including independent three-coordinate positioners and a reference point coordinate indicator connected to a computer. All sensors and the truss are placed on three-axis positioners. Using a pointer and three-coordinate positioners, all technological sensor markers and positioning truss units are precisely, consistently and independently aligned with the reference points specified by the coordinates in the table. Once all the assembly elements have been placed, all the L-legs are glued to the long sides of the truss at the same time.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of mechanical assembly of the supermodule.
