FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to a laser acupuncture method and a device for its implementation. Laser beam is directed to the acupuncture point, ensuring its complete location inside the detection sensor. Detection sensor has an annular shape and consists of four isolated from each other elements with the possibility of covering the laser beam. Acupuncture point is detected by the moment of coincidence of any element of the detection sensor with the acupuncture point. Detection sensor is moved towards the sensor element with which the match occurred until the LED stops burning. Laser diode emission trigger signal is generated. Laser acupuncture device comprises a body in the form of a pen. Inside the housing there is a laser diode configured to output radiation through an outlet hole at the end of the handle. On the side surface of the handle there is a common electrode. Inside the housing there is a power supply unit and a control unit. At the end of the handle there is a detection sensor. Sound and light alarm unit of the device contains four light-emitting diodes and a loudspeaker.
EFFECT: providing both detection of acupuncture point, and guidance to it and exposure to low-intensity laser radiation with one small-sized device.
