FIELD: devices for household automation; devices for fire and security alarms.
SUBSTANCE: method of initiating the process of testing the detector comprises of action of a source of radiation on the radiation sensor, whereby the role of the radiation sensor is carried out by a sensor element which is located on the sensor, which is irradiated with a beam of an optical signal, and as a sensor element a regular light-emitting diode is used, which is meant for mode annunciation of the detector, thus the principle of convertibility work of the light-emitting diode is used. The optical spectrum chosen is from a visible ranger for convenience in guiding a narrow beam on the target, which is the light-diode indicator of the detector. The device contains the source and the radiation sensor. As a source of radiation, a laser diode of a visible light spectrum of radiation is used with additional optical components for collimation of radiation and creation of a narrow beam and an impulse generator and a battery and as the radiation sensor - the regular light emitting diode of a radiation detector.
EFFECT: simplification of the process of testing the detector for the user.
