FIELD: chemical technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing reinforcing fillers. The method for producing modified fibrous materials based on hydrated cellulose technical thread includes modification of fibrous materials with aqueous solutions of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, subsequent drying and heat treatment, while the process of modification of hydrated cellulose technical thread is carried out with aqueous solutions of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane under the following conditions: content of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane in an aqueous solution 2-10 wt.%, acetic acid content 0.1-0.5 wt.%, pH of the medium 4.4-4.6, modification duration 58-62 seconds, solution temperature 18-22 °C, followed by drying of the impregnated fibrous materials at a temperature of 48-52 °C for 38-42 minutes and heat treatment at a temperature of 98-102 °C for 14-16 minutes. The effect consists in increasing the strength of fibrous materials when producing modified fibrous materials based on hydrated cellulose technical thread due to the physicochemical interaction of the functional groups of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane with the hydroxyl groups of the fibrous material and with the formation of a Si-O-filler bond, since in aqueous solutions 3 -glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane is hydrolyzed to form silanol groups -SiOH, which actively react with the OH groups of the fibrous filler.

EFFECT: increased strength of hydrated cellulose technical thread.
