FIELD: machine building; electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of switching at least one electrical appliance switching means and to a drive system for at least one electrical appliance switching means. Disclosed is a method for switching electrical appliance (20). Electrical device (20) includes at least one first switching device (17), which can be a load stage switch, and/or at least one second switching device (18), which can be a double reversing switch (18). Further, the invention discloses drive system (3) for at least first and second switching means (17, 18) of electrical appliance (20). Each of the first switching means (17) and each of the second switching means (18) is associated with its own motor (12, 13), which is connected through drive shaft (16) to the first switching means (17) and to each of the second switching means (18). By means of in each case one feedback system (6, 7), which is associated with first engine (12) and with each second engine (13), for the first switching device (17) and for each of second switching means (18) at least one parameter can be set. Set parameters determine the blocking conditions for the first switching device (17) and the second switching device (18).
