SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plug for a container having a cover with a circumferential wall enclosing the neck of the container, on the lower edge of which there is a tear-off safety ring passing in a circle to ensure the authenticity of the contents of the container with the locking projections facing inside, which in the fixed position of the plug go under the outward-facing annular projection of the container, engaging with it, and an oval-convex seal provided with an oval-shaped bulge passing from the outside in a circle for insertion into the opening of the container with pinching in it. Such a plug is characterized by that in the cover there is a circular concentric groove, which has a radially external annular wall and a radially internal annular wall, which are connected to each other by a bottom wall, the radially external annular wall forms an oval convex seal and directly above the locking projections there are recesses passing through the safety ring, which on both sides pass beyond the locking projections.

EFFECT: design of a plug, which makes it possible to reliably seal the contents of the container and to easily remove it from the neck of the container even when the oval-convex seal is tightly fitted with an interference fit.
