SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used in aerospace monitoring systems, as well as in anti-missile guidance systems. In the disclosed method, it is proposed to perform the interposition identification of the signal propagation delays scattered by a plurality of target elements obtained on three receivers spaced apart from each other and the transmitter, by checking the independence of the obtained coordinates from the change in the configuration of the relative position of the receivers and the transmitter.
EFFECT: possibility of resolving a plurality of closely spaced target elements at large ranges of the target location from the ground-based radar infrastructure and using antennas with a wide beam angle.
