FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic television surveillance, which is carried out by a computer system using a television camera, which provides a series and parallel circular view in four spherical layers of the surrounding spherical region of space. For each of these spherical layers, real-time television monitoring of the situation is carried out in a spatial angle of 360 degrees in azimuth and tens of degrees in elevation. Television camera of such a system has two sensors: "annular" and "rectangular" (matrix) photodetectors, made according to the technology of complementary structures "metal–oxide–semiconductor" (CMOS). Composite image is displayed on computer monitor screen, which in relation to initially presented image consists of a priori selected area with required magnification (scaling) and its rest part with invariable scale.
EFFECT: possibility of monitoring panoramic scene in four layers of surrounding space.
