FIELD: surveillance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panoramic video surveillance executed by a computer system using an all-round television camera in a near-hemispheric area, i.e., in a spatial angle of 360 degrees by azimuth and tens of degrees by angle of elevation. A television camera of such a system has two sensors: an "annular" and a "rectangular" (matrix) photodetectors manufactured according to the technology of complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) structures. The result is achieved by the television camera including an electromechanical turret with two-position rotation, controlled by command from the computer of the system operator, wherein located on the turret on a height-adjustable flange are an "annular" photodetector and, spaced by 180°, a guidance unit whereon a matrix photodetector is installed on a height-adjustable flange, wherein the gain factor Km of the active pixel for each current "annular" string of the "annular" sensor is measured by the ratio:
wherein Δ1 and Δm are the photosensitive area of the active pixel for the first and the current "annular" reading strings in the "annular" sensor, respectively; K1 is the gain factor of the active pixel for the first string in the "annular" sensor, and in order to level the sensitivities of the "annular" channel and the matrix channel, the value of the nominal factor Km of the active pixel of the matrix sensor should be increased by Δ1/Δ.
EFFECT: use of sensors in the format of an "annular" target equal to the format of the frame of a panoramic lens as "annular" photodetectors.
