FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to relay protection equipment, and can be used to protect a rectifier of a converter installation in case of breakdown of its valves and detection of breaks in the power circuit. Device on reed switches for protection of rectifier of converter installation contains signalling unit and for each of phases from side of each diode of rectifier by first reed switch with contacts, which first plate is connected to AND element output, and the second is to the inverse input of the same element and to the input of the logic unit, by outputs connected through the OR element to the actuator, as well as for each of the phases on the side of each diode of the cathode and anode groups along the second and third reed switches with windings and contacts, two inductance coils, to the terminals of each of which an amplifier is connected, windings of first and second reed switches are connected to terminal of amplifier of one coil, winding of the second reed switch and, through the limiter and the rectifier, winding of the third reed switch are connected to the amplifier of the other coil, contacts of the second reed switch are connected to the direct input, and contacts of the third reed switch are connected to the inverse input of the signalling unit.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity of protection and detection of breaks in power circuit of rectifier of converter installation.
