FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry, namely to analysis of medical gas "Nitrous oxide, compressed gas". Method of determining nitrous oxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen in a medicinal product "Nitrous oxide, compressed gas" involves sampling for analysis, analysis of contained nitrous oxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, non-condensable gases: oxygen and nitrogen using a portable chromatograph, calculation of nitrous oxide content by external standard method or by method of multipoint calibration dependence for basic substance and all impurities, using areas of chromatographic peaks, or by calculation method. Portable gas chromatograph used is a gas chromatograph having three independent channels. First channel includes a planar microfluidic chromatographic column 1 m × 1 mm filled with Carboxen 1000 sorbent, and a heat conductivity detector with carrier gas helium for separation of unresolved peak of non-condensable gases, carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide. Second channel includes a planar microfluidic chromatographic column of 2 m × 1 mm filled with Carboxen 1000 sorbent, and a thermochemical detector with a carrier gas air for determining carbon monoxide. Third channel includes a planar microfluidic chromatographic column of 2 m × 1 mm filled with NaX sorbent, and a thermal conductivity detector with a carrier gas helium for separating oxygen and nitrogen, wherein chromatography on all three channels is performed simultaneously.
EFFECT: enabling the possibility of performing tests on five indicators simultaneously in a stationary and in a mobile laboratory, as well as reducing analysis time and sample consumption.
