FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method for elimination of stress areas on glass surface. In particular, disclosed device for eliminating stress areas on glass surface comprises transport unit (10), provided with transportation surface for reciprocating transportation of glass (40) in transportation direction; upper air blower assembly (30), made above the transportation surface for directing air during reciprocating movement above the transportation surface in the swinging direction, passing in direction of width of glass (40), and lower air blowing unit (20) provided under transportation surface, for direction of air at reciprocal movement under transportation surface in direction of swinging. At that, transportation unit (10) comprises transportation support frame, a plurality of transport rollers rotatably mounted on a transport support frame, and an arc-forming mechanism used to convert the support transport frame into an arc segment shape, to form a conveying surface in the form of an arc segment on the conveying rollers.
EFFECT: elimination of stress areas on the surface of bent glass during production of bent glass owing to uniform cooling of bent glass.
