FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fine particles of high-quality energy crystalline material of secondary explosive materials (EM), which in future can be used both independently – in the form of pressed parts, and as part of mixed explosives for defence and civil purposes. When producing highly dispersed crystals of secondary explosives, ultrasonic treatment of a solution of secondary explosives in an organic solvent, filtration of secondary explosives and their drying. Ultrasonic treatment of acoustic liquid, which does not mix and does not interact with crystals of secondary explosives, is carried out at electric power of 400–3,500 W and frequency of 20 kHz, at temperature in range of 0 up to 70 °C. Treatment is carried out with addition of a solution of secondary explosives in an organic solvent at a ratio of acoustic liquid : solution of secondary explosives in range of 1:1 to 15:1. Rate of supply of the solution of secondary explosive substances into the acoustic liquid is in range of 0.5–100 ml/min. Subsequent filtration of crystals of secondary explosives is carried out in a vacuum and drying at temperature of 60–80 °C for 4–16 hours.
EFFECT: enabling possibility to select the required dispersity of the obtained EM crystals from a wide size range, higher homogeneity of properties of crystals of secondary EM due to absence of uncontrolled impurities, possibility of using media of low toxicity – hazard class of used solvents is not higher than IV, precision due to absence of uncontrolled impurities during processing.
