FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to X-ray diagnostics and can be used for differential diagnosis of anaemia of chronic diseases, iron deficiency anaemia and combined variant of anaemia of chronic diseases and iron deficiency anaemia in chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is performed in ASL-perfusion mode and hepatic blood flow (HBF) is determined. If HBF values are from 82 to 101 ml/100 g/min, anaemia of chronic diseases is diagnosed. If HBF is 102 to 109 ml/100 g/min, iron-deficiency anaemia is diagnosed. If HBF is 70 to 81 ml/100 g/min, a combined variant of anaemia of chronic disease and iron deficiency anaemia is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method provides non-invasive, objective differential diagnosis of anaemia accompanying chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis by determining HBF.
