FIELD: quantum computing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of quantum computers using semiconductor technology. Essence of the proposed technical solution consists in the following. As a quantum register, it is proposed to form a semiconductor wire surrounded by an insulator with control electrodes applied thereon. At the same time at the ends of the wire there are contacts for passing current, and as a collective register it is proposed to use several semiconductor wires with common control electrodes and contacts.

EFFECT: providing scalability of a universal quantum computer based on double quantum dots, high resistance of the register to external noise, as well as high accuracy of measuring the final state.
