SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Pneumatic tire (1) includes bead cores (21) formed by winding bead wires (28) in a ring and having a shape in the meridian cross section of the tire, formed with a polygonal cross section; carcass (6) extending between bead sections (20) on both sides in transverse direction of the tire. Carcass (6) passes through inner side of bead core (21) in tire radial direction from bead core (21) inner side in tire transverse direction and is wrapped in reverse side to outer side in tire transverse direction in bead section (20). Carcass (6) is formed by coating carcass cord (6c) with covering rubber (6d). Inner layer (50) reinforced with organic fibre is wound around core (21) of bead and formed by covering cord (51) of organic fibre with covering rubber (52). Rubber reinforcing layer (60) is located between inner reinforced organic fibre layer (50) and carcass (6) so that it covers at least top on innermost side of bead core (21) in tire transverse direction. Shortest distance between bead wire (28) and carcass cord (6c) is 3 mm or more.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance of tire bead section.
