DOUBLE-CIRCUIT INFILTRATION DISPENSER Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2817479 C1

FIELD: medicine; surgery.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used both during vascular surgical operations in patients with varicose veins with endovasal laser coagulation, radiofrequency obliteration of saphenous veins and their tributaries, and in general surgical incomplete operations, insignificant in volume. Double-circuit infiltration dispenser comprises a main unit body, a foot control unit, an anesthetic solution cooling unit. Two peristaltic pumps are located on the housing of the main unit—pumps of the first circuit and the second circuit, which perform the function of delivering the anesthetic solution from the container along the main lines to the cooling unit, then the solution enters through the outlets and into the surgical intervention area. Rate and volume of liquid flow by pumps 1 and 2 of circuits is adjusted, calibrated by means of a push-button control unit, the required values are displayed on the corresponding information display. Foot control unit has its own pedal for activation/deactivation of each circuit and a switch configured to deactivate the operation of all circuits.

EFFECT: simple and easy-to-use device is created, which allows performing surgical interventions under local anesthesia, which allows to reduce volume of blood loss and traumatism of operation during planned and emergency vein surgery, as well as in incomplete general surgical operations, enables to eliminate the risk of using anesthesia, the possibility of using this device for local anesthesia in patients with a burdened allergic history, allows to reduce the length of the operation, improve the quality of life and shorten the rehabilitation period.
