FIELD: medicine; oncogynecology.
SUBSTANCE: oblique incision is formed and a section of skin is excised along the inguinal fold as in figure 1 with the upper point of incision 3 cm below the anterior superior iliac spine and 3 cm medial to the perpendicular line passing through the anterior superior iliac spine. Lower point of the incision is located above and lateral to the pubic tubercle. Subcutaneous fat with lymph nodes is separated within fascial cases and fixed by means of silk sutures-holders. Then, subcutaneous fat is dissected to fascia lata, subcutaneous fat is separated in the area of the wound bottom with preservation of the great saphenous vein.
EFFECT: method is effective and easy to implement, reduces postoperative complications, enables to prevent venous insufficiency of lower extremities, significantly reduce lymphatic edema of the lower extremities, postoperative wound infection, prolonged lymphorrhea, reduce marginal tissue necrosis and dehiscence, improve cosmetic result of postoperative defect, length of hospitalization and postoperative rehabilitation of patients.
