SUBSTANCE: method for rapid formation of distributions of absorbed dose of protons in an irradiated object during operations of radiation therapy comprises stages, on which in the absorbing disc an annular groove of variable depth is made and a proton beam is passed through it, the absorbing disc is oriented with the groove side towards the proton beam, minimum depth of the groove is selected equal to the sum of the thicknesses of the absorbing disc and the patient's tissue to the frontal surface of the irradiated object minus the range of protons in the tissue-equivalent material, maximum depth of the groove is selected equal to the sum of the thicknesses of the absorbing disc, the patient's tissue to the frontal surface of the irradiated object and the thickness of the irradiated object minus the proton path in the tissue-equivalent material, disc-absorber is rotated in the mode of reproducing the required distribution of absorbed dose.
EFFECT: rapid formation of distributions of the absorbed dose of protons in the irradiated object during radiation therapy operations.
