SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a construction panel with high fire resistance and to a method of making a construction panel with high fire resistance. Construction panel contains xonotlite, expanded pearlite, wherein at least 50% by weight of expanded pearlite per its total weight has grain size of not more than 1.5 mm, and fibres. Method of producing a construction panel with high fire resistance includes the following steps: providing a batch comprising: a component containing calcium oxide; component containing silicon dioxide; expanded pearlite; fibres; and water; batch moulding; application of pressure and temperature to the moulded batch so that the component containing calcium oxide, the component containing silicon dioxide and water form xonotlite.
EFFECT: high fire resistance of the construction panel.
