Abstract RU 2817933 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to cardiology. A method of treating atherosclerotic changes of the cardiovascular system consists in the fact that in addition to the hypolipidemic therapy with statins, a course of plasmapheresis in combination with glutathione and cytoflavin is carried out. Plasmapheresis course consists of three sessions. It is followed by intravenous infusions with glutathione and cytoflavin for ten days: 0.6 g of glutathione is dissolved in 250 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution and 10 ml of cytoflavin solution is dissolved in 0.9% sodium chloride solution. After 1 month, a course of oral administration of cytoflavin with glutathione is carried out for 30 days: cytoflavin is taken orally at least 30 minutes before meals, without chewing, with water 100 ml, 2 tablets 2 times a day with an interval between doses of 8–10 hours, glutathione in dosage of 100 mg is taken 1 capsule 2 times a day with meals. Repeated courses of oral administration of cytoflavin and glutathione are repeated twice more with an interval between courses of 3 months.

EFFECT: invention provides slowing down the aging of the body by improving the lipid spectrum, reducing systemic inflammation and oxidative stress, improvement of hepatic values, delay of atherosclerosis progression in patients with dyslipidemia.
