FIELD: catalytic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of preparing a zeolite catalyst ZSM-5 for a propane dehydrogenation process, involves modification of zeolite with boron, characterized by that boron is introduced into the zeolite by an impregnation method, wherein boron content in obtained catalyst ranges from 0.5 to 5.0 wt.%, and silicate modulus of zeolite is equal to 100 mol/mol.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of propane conversion to light olefins by increasing starting crude conversion and desired product yield in declared catalyst.
