FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for embedding a bone preparation in epoxy resin for preserving reconstructed bone fragments for the purpose of subsequent scanning on a computer tomograph. In accordance with the proposed method, bone fragments are soaked in technical acetone for 3 days, followed by drying at room temperature for 50 minutes, followed by soaking in absolute isopropanol for 6 hours, followed by drying at room temperature for 30 minutes, then gluing matched bone fragments by means of adhesive composition based on cyanoacrylate, then, after curing of the adhesive composition, the bone preparation is placed in a silicone mould and embedded in an epoxy resin for thick-layer filling.
EFFECT: invention provides reconstruction, fixation and preservation of bone material with traumatic injuries.
