FIELD: medicine; training means.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to teaching aids in medicine. Apparatus for training hand positioning when performing navigation transcranial magnetic stimulation includes a full-size human head model and sensors. Human head model is made of ABS plastic with images of anatomical structures imitating the frontal, parietal and occipital bones of the skull. Head model is filled with gel-like silicone and comprises 19 Hall sensors for measuring magnetic field during magnetic stimulation in real time, connected with possibility of transmitting data to data collection and processing board and to computer for visual display. Hall sensors are placed in the head model according to the “10-20” electrode arrangement and are installed at depth of 1.5 cm from the model surface.
EFFECT: training of correct positioning of hands of investigator when performing navigation transcranial magnetic stimulation.
