FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis of biological materials by physical analysis of blood, and can be used in radiation medicine and oncology. A method for assessing personalized radiosensitivity of a person based on determining the response of his haemopoietic stem cells to radiation exposure using humanized mice consists in the fact that hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) are obtained from a human donor and introduced into mice in amount of 30 to 115 thousand cells per each animal intraosseously in a shin bone. 20–30 minutes after cell transplantation, the animals are exposed to gamma-irradiation in dose of 0.5 Gy with a dose rate of 0.91 Gy/min. Then, on 3rd and 14th post-irradiation day, the portion of HSC CD45lowCD34+ cells among human leukocyte CD45low/+ cells is measured in a bone marrow sample taken from a shin bone of mice, into which HSC was injected. Calculating the ratio of the share of HSC on 14th day to indicator on 3rd day in the form of a coefficient K14/3 and making a conclusion on radio sensitivity, if the coefficient is less than 2.5, and on radio resistance, if the coefficient K14/3 is greater than 2.5.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a personalized assessment of human radiosensitivity.
