FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for predicting effective mobilisation of autologous hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) into the peripheral blood of patients with multiple myeloma is proposed. The level of secretion of interleukin-12 and tumour necrosis factor α by mesenchimal cells of the bone marrow stroma is determined . At the production of interleukin-12 of more than 0.136 pg/ml/day and tumour necrosis factor α of more than 0.165 pg/ml/day in patients with multiple myeloma, effective mobilisation of autologous HSCs into the peripheral blood is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of the HSC preparation process by using experimentally established control quantitative parameters: the content of several cytokines produced by bone marrow MSCs.
