FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and vertebrology, and can be used for lumbar facet joint denervation. Method involves placing a needle under X-ray control, subsequent insertion of a mandrel and thermal destruction. X-ray flow of the C-arm is directed to the facet joint, setting the angle of inclination corresponding to the facet angle of the facet joint (FJ). Needle is placed at the junction of the transverse process and the superior articular process of FJ. Tubular retractor for the endoscope is inserted along the mandrel. Under the control of an endoscope, nerves innervating the facet joint are visualized. Thermal destruction and mechanical destruction are carried out with the help of an electric coagulator, nippers and conchotomes. Method provides higher accuracy of destruction of nerves innervating FJ, and reduced radiation load on medical personnel and patients due to peculiarities of needle placement.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of destruction of nerves innervating FJ, and reduced radiation load on medical personnel and patients due to peculiarities of needle placement.
